Theresa Lillian, nee Range, Juenger, 82, of New Athens, IL, born March 23, 1935 in E. St. Louis, IL, passed away on Sunday, December 17, 2017 at the New Athens Home for the Aged in New Athens, IL. Mrs. Juenger was a retired line worker at Belleville Shoe Company in Belleville, IL. She was also a member of St. Agatha Catholic Church in New Athens, IL

She was preceded in death by her husband, Christopher W. Juenger, whom she married on August 3, 1954 in New Athens, IL and who passed away on November 6, 1996, her parents; Anthony and Rose, nee Holdener, Range, 2 brothers and 2 sisters.

Theresa is survived by her children; Wayne (Kimberly) Juenger of New Athens, IL, David (Judy) Juenger of New Athens, IL, Richard (Wendy) Juenger of Waterloo, IL, Robert (Tammy) Juenger of Chester, IL, Ruth (Don) Bishop of New Athens, IL, Jane (Rick) Bumann of Marissa, IL and Donald (Sandi) Juenger of Cahokia, IL, 1 sister - Rose Range of Belleville, IL, 3 sisters-in-law; Carol Range of New Athens, IL, Helen Juenger of Freeburg, IL and Shirley Juenger of Oakdale, IL, brother and sister-in-law; Ed (Delores) Juenger of New Athens, IL, 20 grandchildren and 32 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to the American Diabetes Association or to the New Athens Home for the Aged.

Visitation; Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday, December 20, 2017 and from 9 to 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at St. Agatha Catholic Church in New Athens, IL. A prayer service will be held at 4 p.m. Wednesday evening at the church.

Funeral: A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. on Thursday, December 21, 2017 at St. Agatha Catholic Church in New Athens, IL with Fr. Mark Reyling and Fr. James Nall officiating. Burial will follow at St. Agatha Catholic Cemetery in New Athens, IL.

Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in New Athens, IL is in charge of arrangements.
