WINTER

Pauline D., nee Wilson, Winter, 92, of Marissa, IL; born on May 12, 1922 in Tilden, IL; passed away on Thursday, January 29, 2015 at her home.

Mrs. Winter was a homemaker. She was baptized in the Methodist faith. She was a member of the Royal Neighbors. Pauline enjoyed fishing and was an avid bingo player. Above all Pauline was a good and loving mother.

She was preceded in death by her parents – Henry and Kate, nee Heiman, Wilson. Her husband Robert Winter whom she married on July 12, 1955 in Belleville, IL and who passed away on February 5, 2010. Also preceded by one grandson; one great-grandson; three brothers and one sister.

She is survived by her children – David (Judy) Owens of Foley, MO; Norman (Naomi) Owens of Marissa, IL; Pamela (John) Dahlem of Waterloo, IL; Paula (David) Owen of Marissa, IL. Also survived by nine grandchildren; forty great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren. One sister – Evelyn Kelly of Coulterville, IL. And numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to St. Jude Children's Hospital

Visitation: Friends may call at Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL on Sunday, February 1, 2015 from 5:00pm to 8:00pm and on Monday, February 2, 2015 from 9:00am to 11:00am.

Funeral: Services will be held at Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL on Monday, February 2, 2015 with Rev. Harkness officiating.

Interment: Burial will be held in the Marissa Township Cemetery in Marissa, IL.
