Patricia Ann Macbeth, 89, of Marissa, IL; born on October 13, 1926 in Alton, IL; passed away unexpectedly on Friday, April 1, 2016 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

Mrs. Macbeth was a retired jewelry salesperson. She was a member of Friedens United Church of Christ; Sparta VFW Auxiliary 2698 and the Marissa Women's Club. Patricia was an avid golfer and enjoyed traveling.

She was preceded in death by her parents – Robert and Catherine, nee Hudson, McManus. Her husband – William Macbeth whom she married on July 29, 1970 in Sparta, IL. Her ex-husband – Charles Towey. One brother, Bob and two sisters Helen and Kay. Two sons-in-law – Gary Poling, Greg Hazen.

She is survived by her daughters – Charla Hazen of Wood River, IL, Patrice (Don) Cherry of Wood River, IL, Trecia (Gary) Hanna of Sparta, IL. Her grandchildren – Cory (Sheila Weis) Hanna of Coulterville, IL, Cassie Hanna of Sparta, IL, Bruce (Erin) Hazen of Bethalto, IL, Sara Hazen of Wood River, IL, Amy Hazen of Wood River, IL, Cari (Shane) Manning of Red Bud, IL, Heather (Justin) Weber of Belleville, IL, Nicki Poling of Wood River, IL. Her great-grandchildren – Amelia Hazen, Zander Hazen, Mason Manning, Megan Manning, Tori Hanna, Jason Shelton, Jenna Shelton, Joel Hanna. One sister – Emma Jean Wiggins of Wood River, IL. Also survived by many nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Friedens United Church of Christ Scholarship Fund or the American Cancer Society.

Visitation: Friends may call at Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL on Thursday, April 7, 2016 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm.
