Marilyn Helene, nee Waeltz, Fett, 76, of Marissa, IL; born on November 29, 1941 in Belleville, IL; passed away on Wednesday, January 24, 2018 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO.

Mrs. Fett worked for many years as a secretary for the Raymond Schickedanz Insurance Agency. She loved walking in the outdoors. Marilyn enjoyed tending to her flowers and lawn. She was very active and so full of life. Most of all she was a very loving wife, mother and grandmother.

She was preceded in death by her parents – Clifford and Norene, nee Winter, Waeltz. Sister and Brother-in-law; Marilyn (Paul) Albert, Twin infant grandsons – David and Daniel Fett.

She is survived by her husband of 57 years – Myron Fett whom she married on June 18, 1960 at St. Agatha Catholic Church in New Athens, IL. Her children – Bill (Jana) Fett of Marissa, IL; Julie (Richard) Hays of Sparta, IL. 1 sister: Carolyn (George) Vollmer of Freeburg, IL, Her grandchildren – Lauren (Mike) Boyle; Matthew Peters; Bobby Fett; Alaina Fett.
