Linda Ann Nace, nee Williams, 66, of New Athens, IL, born September 7, 1948 in St. Louis, MO, passed away on Wednesday, August 12, 2015 at her residence after an extended illness. Mrs. Nace was a homemaker.

She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Dorothy, nee Brinkly, Williams, 1 granddaughter, Donna "D.J." Calvert, 1 sister, Virginia Gail Shaw and 1 sister-in-law, Diane Williams.

Linda is survived by her husband, Leroy F. Nace, whom she married on February 8, 1992 in Cahokia, IL, her children; Donna (Kenneth) Calvert of Marissa, IL, Michael (Cindy) Brockmeier of Belleville, IL, Shirley (Bob) McClure of Stuart, FL and James (Jackie) Brockmeier of Port St. Lucie, FL, 1 brother; William Robert Williams of Smithton IL and 1 brother-in-law; Frank Shaw of Tennessee, 12 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois.

Visitation: A memorial gathering of family and friends will be held from 4 to 8 p.m., on Sunday, August 23, 2015 at Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in New Athens, IL

Funeral: No formal services will be held.

Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in New Athens is charge of arrangements.
