Keith Allen Johnson II, 43, of Sparta, IL; born on February 12, 1973 in Pinckneyville, IL; passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2017 at his home.

Keith was a coal miner. He was a member of the Sparta Eagles. Keith enjoyed camping and loved hanging out with his friends.

He was preceded in death by his mother – Ramona, nee Hahn, Johnson. His brother – Matthew Scott Johnson.

He is survived by his father – Keith (Sandra Lumb-Johnson) Johnson of Carmi, IL. His sister – Heather Pretzsch of Carmi, IL. His step-brother – Josh (Amber) Haley of Carmi, IL. Three nieces – Haley Smith of Carmi, IL; Hannah Smith of Carmi, IL; Kendall Rooney of Carmi, IL; Aiden Pretzsch of Carmi, IL; Noah Haley of Carmi, IL. Also survived by many aunts and uncles.

Visitation: Friends may call at Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL on Sunday, January 29, 2017 from 11:00am to 2:00pm.

Funeral: Services will be held at Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL on Sunday, January 29, 2017 at 2:00pm

Interment: Burial will be held in the Marissa Township Cemetery in Marissa, IL.
