Ervin Daniel "Bud" Geralds, 71, of Marissa, IL; born on January 21, 1946 in Belleville, IL; passed away on Thursday, February 16, 2017 at Memorial Hospital in Belleville, IL.

Mr. Geralds was a retired coal and copper miner. He was a United States Army Veteran. Bud was an amateur (ham) radio operator. He also volunteered as a dispatcher for the Marissa Ambulance Service. Bud was an avid hunter.

He was preceded in death by his parents - Ervin and Elsie, nee Pflasterer, Geralds. Two brothers – Nick Geralds; Charlie Geralds. Two sisters – Kathleen Johnson; Becky Harriman.

He is survived by one daughter – Kristie (Steve) Jacobs of Chico, TX. His grandchildren – Heather (Pedro) Contreras; Joshua Jacobs. His great-grandson – Alex Contreras. Two sisters – Eileen Myers; Peggy Zacheis.

Memorials may be made to the donor's choice.
