Earl Glennon Robison, 79, of Marissa, IL; born on July 3, 1938 in East Carondelet, IL; passed away on Thursday, December 14, 2017 at his home.

He was a United States Army veteran. Earl was a retired Teamster truck driver with Local 600. Earl enjoyed fishing. Most of all he loved to be around his family.

He was preceded in death by his parents – Francis and Frances, nee Rayoum, Robison. Two brothers – Floyd Robison; Ivan Robison. One sister – Marjorie Crain. Father and mother-in-law – Charlie and Maggie Mahan. Brothers-in-law – Bobby Mahan; Charlie Mahan. Sister-in-law – Wilma (Robert) Marshall.

He is survived by his wife – Carol, nee Mahan, Robison whom he married on April 27, 1968 in East St. Louis, IL. His children – Karrie (Ellis) Hackney of Breeze, IL; Lisa (Dave) Metheny of Troy, IL; Butch Robison of O'Fallon, IL; David Robison of St. Louis, MO; Glenn (Vicki) Robison of Lenzburg, IL. His grandchildren – Nicole Hays; Heather Robison; Tyler Robison; Justin Robison; C.J. Metheny; Aaron Metheny; Nathan Metheny; Blake Robison; Breanna Robison. Four great-grandchildren. One sister – Louise Hardin. Brothers-in-law – Robert (Barb) Mahan; Alfred (Debbie) Mahan. Sister-in-law – Barb (John) Tucker.

At Earl's request no services will be held.

Heil-Schuessler Funeral Home in Marissa, IL is in charge of arrangements.
